In New Haven January 15, 2012, Eugene S. Sansone, husband of the late Eleanor Sanford Sansone, formerly of 22 Hopson Ave., Branford.
Mr. Sansone was born in Branford, December 23, 1924, a son of the late Louis and Margaret Bontatibus Sansone. He served in the U. S. Army National Guard, and was a dairy farmer on his family's farm in Branford for many years. He also worked as a foreman at the Atlantic Wire Co. in Branford.
He is survived by his daughters, Margaret Mauro of Cheshire, Eleanor Plotner of Las Vegas, Sharon Shadeck of North Branford, Eugenia Sansone of Las Vegas and Catherine Lane of Branford; a brother, Louis Sansone of Rhode Island, a sister, Eleanor Anastasio of Branford and 11 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Dominic, John, and Cornelius Sansone, and a sister, Viola Biondello.
Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday morning at 10:00 in St. Mary Church, Branford. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford. THERE ARE NO CALLING HOURS.
