In Branford November 3, 2008, Madeline "Molly" Santa Barbara Erickson, wife of the late Carl B. Erickson, of East Haven.
Beloved mother of Joanne Erickson of East Haven. Sister of Joseph (Marie) Santa Barbara of Orange, Amelia Signore of East Haven, and Theresa Mulvey of Branford. Sister-in-law of Lorette Santa Barbara of West Haven, and Taffie (Marie) Santa Barbara of Branford. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceased by brothers, John, Thomas, Pasquale, Anthony (Sam) and her twin, Louis Santa Barbara, and sisters, Julia Papini, Mary Marcucci and Elizabeth Cipullo.
She was born in Branford August 20, 1914, daughter of the late Dominic and Marianna Gianelli Santa Barbara. She had worked as a sales clerk at Bradley's Department Store in East Haven for over 20 years until retiring in 1979.
Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford Thursday morning at 9:30 with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 10:00. Burial will be in Tabor Cemetery, Branford. Friends may call Wednesday (TODAY) from 5 – 7 PM.
