In Old Saybrook November 7, 2008, David Russell Houde, beloved husband of 64 years of Isabelle Gailunas Houde of 34 Worthington Dr., Westbrook.
Father of David R. Houde, Jr. of Waterford; grandfather of David R. Houde, III of New Haven; brother of Carolyn Cimaglia of West Haven. He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Paul, Doug and James Houde, and a sister Jeanette Houde.
He was born in New Haven March 15, 1918, son of the late David J. and Mary Gilchrest Houde. He was a shift foreman for the CT Coke Company in New Haven until retiring.
Friends are invited to a funeral service Tuesday morning at 11:00 in the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, and may call prior to the funeral from 10 – 11 am. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford.
