In Branford June 19, 2009, Madelyn Elizabeth Klucik, wife of the late William B. Klucik of 173 Alps Rd., Branford.
Mother of Mary-Ellen (Tom) Grantland of Branford, and Lynn (Brian) McArdle of VA; Grandmother of Rachel, Alaina, Erin and Brendan. Great-grandmother of Evan, Jake, and Nathan. Step-grandmother of Jennifer and Thristen, and step-great-grandmother of Dale, Alexander and Mareyna. She is also survived by her brother, Richard (Lee) Bauerfeld of Branford. She was predeceased by a brother John A. Bauerfeld.
She was born in Stamford, July 13, 1921, daughter of the late Alfred and Madeline Bauerfeld. A graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford and the Katharine Gibbs School in NYC, she worked as an executive assistant until her retirement.
Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday morning at 10:00, in St. Mary Church, Branford. There are no calling hours. Private burial will be held Wednesday in Queen of Peace Cemetery, Stamford.
