In New Haven, June 25, 2009, Joseph T. Meglin of Branford. Husband of Sophie Goclowski Meglin of Branford. Brother of Frances Dennison, Annie Wezenski, and Joan Hardwick, all of Branford, and Ellen Johnson of Guilford. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers John, Stanley, and Michael Meglin and sisters Mary Klass and Nellie Melillo.

Joseph was born in Branford April 1, 1922, a son of the late Stanley and Anatosia Meglin. He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He later worked as an electrician for Atlantic Wire in Branford for 35 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 83 in Branford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:00 at St. Mary Church in Branford. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. There will be no calling hours. The W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St. Branford is in care of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd. Branford, CT 06405.
