In Branford June 30, 2009, Adelia Hackett of Cedar St. Branford. Wife of the late Vincent Hackett. Mother & mother in law of Vincent and Patricia Hackett of Bristol. Sister of Ingeborg Wilson of Branford. Grandmother of John, Jim, and Michael Hackett. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters Edith Walsh and Cecelia Engstrom and her brothers Ralph and Rudolph Wilson.
She was born in Branford on February 19, 1915, a daughter of the late Charles and Johanna Prince Wilson. She was a member of the Tabor Lutheran Church in Branford.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 at the Tabor Lutheran Church in Branford. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. There will be no calling hours. The W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St. Branford is in care of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Tabor Lutheran Church, 45 Tabor Drive, Branford, CT 06405.
