In CT Hospice February 20, 2010, Doreen Wilson Van Egghen, beloved wife of 60 years to Louis Van Egghen of 85 Windmill Hill Rd., Branford.
Mother of Robert C (Eleanora) Van Egghen of Oxford, CT and the late Jon J. Van Egghen. Grandmother of Susanna E. Van Egghen and Robert J. Van Egghen. Sister of Roberts Hildebrand of Charlottesville, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Doreen was born September 10, 1930 in Stony Creek, daughter of the late Robert and Hazel Smith Wilson. She enjoyed swimming and fishing down in Stony Creek. Her family would like to thank all of the wonderful and caring people of CT Hospice in Branford, and Medical Oncology and Hematology of Guilford for the care shown to Doreen during her illness.
Relatives and friends may attend a memorial service Saturday February 27th at 9 am in the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, Branford.
