In Branford March 2, 2010, Lorraine LaCroix Fay of 34 Wildwood Ave., Madison, formerly of Sybil Ave. Branford.
Mother of Edward F. (Barbara) Fay, Jr. and Maureen St. John (Brennan McLaughlin), all of Branford. Grandmother of Meghan Fay, Jessica St. John, Christopher St. John, and the late Samuel St. John. Sister of Bernadette Gould of Branford, and Jeanette Langlais of VA. She was predeceased by a sister, Leontine Raffile and a brother Raymond LaCroix.
She was born in New Haven January 15, 1924 and had worked as an operator for SNET for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Canoe Brook Senior Center in Branford, where she loved to play cards with her friends, and she had volunteered at S.A.R.A.H.'s Homemaker Thrift Shop in Branford for many years.
Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford Saturday morning at 9:30 for a memorial Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church, Branford, at 10:00. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 8:30-9:30.
