In Branford March 15, 2010, Margaret Byrne Conroy, wife of the late Arthur Conroy, of 30 Blackstone Ave., Branford, formerly of Hollywood, FL.
She was the mother of Richard (Marlyce Ann) Conroy of West Chester, PA, and Donna (Peter) Ferriolo of Branford; grandmother of Christopher and Thomas Conroy and Shayn Ferriolo; great-grandmother of Cole, Madisyn, Tyler, Breyden and Bailey Conroy; sister of Loretta Stassins of Long Island, NY; and sister-in-law of Amy Byrne of Humble, TX and Jane Miller of Marblehead, MA. She was predeceased by a grandson, Peter M."P. J." Ferriolo Jr. and her brother James Lawrence Byrne.
She was born in Rye, NY November 20, 1917 a daughter of the late James and Margaret Foley Byrne.
Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford Thursday morning at 10 am for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 10:30. Friends may call prior to the funeral from 9 – 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will be private in East Side Cemetery, Woodbridge.
